find elsewhere!
• University
of Virginia Youth Violence Project - A project at the University
of Virginia with the
purpose to Identify effective methods and policies for youth violence prevention
and response,
especially in school settings; Conduct and disseminate research on the
understanding and
reduction of violent behavior in youth; Provide education and training
for educators, psychologists,
and other colleagues in the social, legal, and human services professions.
They provide a number of interesting and effectively organized articles
& write-ups online.
Each complete with charts, plots etc. This site is a very good source
for youth violence
information, especially regarding preventative measures. They have
also created a good links
section dealing primarily with violence issues.
• Suite
101 - Forensic Psychology - The nets newest forensics resource.
Suite 101 provides an
electronic journal complete with weekly editorials, opinion polls, chatrooms,
discussion
forums, and best of the web resource lists. I am the editor of this
area of the E-Journal.
• Forensic and Criminal Psychology:
A Journey into Madness - there really is not much here
the little information it has is original however. It is at least
worth a look.
• Occupational
Therapy and Forensic Psychiatry - occupational therapists work
in a number
of forensic related institutions. Here is a sample of their contribution
to the field.
• Without Conscience - The website of
the Hare Lab at UBC - The website for one of UBC's forensic
psychology labs. It provides a number of articles online. The
site primarily deals with the
forensic applications of the PCL-R and PCL:SV test. Its worth a look
for those interested
in forensic assessment and psychometric testing.
• Inside
the Mind: Criminal Psychology At first site you would
expect this to
be another sensationalism site. Don't be fooled. The site provides
original
articles and information available nowhere else!
• Forensic
Psychology a good information site for students. If you really
don't know anything
about the field this may be a place for you start looking.

•The Forensic Web
of Addictions - an attempt to provide a good resource guide
to forensics
& addictions. It doesn't succeed that greatly though...
•Forensic Science
and Forensic Psychology NETwork when you first see this site
you think
you have found the motherload of information ... enough to dwarf my site
and make
it look far from ultimate... soon you find out though that none of the
resources are
really there.. http errors and such ... mabye someday though..
•The Psychology Assessment Connection
- provides a good look into forensic and general
psychological assessment. A good resource list is available, and
like ours it provides
comprehensive reviews of every site (very handy)! The author also
provides a
regular free assessment newsletter which is a very unique feature of the
site that
you will have difficulty finding elsewhere!

- one of the nets best sites. Don't let the name fool
you this is not a killer sensationalism site. One
of the most comprehensive
site that entails virtually all areas of criminal psychology.
• Knowledge Solutions -
It is a business link. But they provide profiling training.
They also offer online profiling courses!
• Robert K. Ressler former
FBI profilers personal site. Has a list of his books,
and provides date of tentative lectures he is doing.
• FBI Academy - Behavioral
Science Unit - where organized profiling started
in the states. The site provides very little other then a description
of the
unit.
