"Principles of Kinesic Interview
and Interrogation"
Stan B. Walters
(1996)
***
Several users have asked me about the police 'Kinesic Interview' ...
Briefly the 'Kinesic Interview' is a technique that is growing in usage
during criminal investigations. The basis of the technique is the
observation of a suspects non-verbal behaviour, so that the interviewer
can focus on certain questions and detect lying. This book, by Stan
B. Walters, is one of the best introductions to the procedure that I could
find. This book is published by the 'CRC' Press, whom are the leading
publisher of forensic texts.

The Psychology of Criminal
Justice

(1992)
This text is set up in an effective
manner so that we can see Forensic Psychology from start to finish.
It begins by introducing us to the modern day criminal, including investigations
into their personality, socializability, and morality. We next
look at the victims and how the criminal act with them. Thirdly a
comprehensive look at the psychological components of police work is presented.
The book ends with a look at the court system, offender punishment and
